The laughs, the kisses, the hands to hold, the smiles, silly giggles, warm hugs, the tails that wag, the look in each other's eyes, and the love you feel in your hearts for the most important thing in your life, your family. Every family is so different, unique, and beautiful in its own special way. Family is a gift from God. Freezing these moments in time with a high-quality photo session will ensure they don't flow too far downstream.
My name is Emily. I am a wife, mother of two beautiful girls, and dog mom with a passion for faith and photography. I am located in Munising. Gateway to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. I believe with all my heart that family is the most precious gift in this life. Life itself is such a fleeting thing. Elevating your moments into elegant memories you can cherish for the rest of your life brings my heart such joy.
What areas do you serve?
A.Since I'm based in Munising I am perfectly centered to serve all of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Northern Lower Michigan, and Northern Wisconsin
Is there a travel fee associated with your sessions?
A.While I am super excited about documenting your special moments, sometimes it takes a while to get from one place to another in the UP. This is why I have implemented a straightforward travel fee to help with extra travel time, gas, and wear on my vehicle. Any photoshoot events located 50 miles round trip from my home in Munising will incur a flat rate of $100 and be charged per mile after that.
Can I purchase framed prints or canvas photos from my photo session?
A.Yes! I want your photo collection experience to be as easy and stress free as possible. Your time is valuable, which is why I have a store integrated directly into your personal photo collection. No need to go to a third-party printer. Upon delivery of your personal photo collection you will have full access to explore our store, where you can purchase a wide variety of prints, canvases, and framed prints of YOUR photos.
What should I wear?
A.For family photo sessions I suggest families coordinate with similar colors. Select a few different colors and work within those colors and tones. Soft colors such as pastels help make for beautiful skin tones and make you really "pop" and "stand out" in your photos if your outdoor session. Mother nature can be so busy, and she likes to try to steal the show, so to make all eyes be instantly drawn to you, I recommend solid colors!
